Nokia Launched its Lumia 610 in Indian market


To extend its market share Nokia launched its new Nokia Lumia 610 for its Indian users at the Price of just ₹12,999  Nokia already has Lumia 800 and Lumia 710 for consumers in India.
Vipul Mehrotra, director-smart devices, Nokia India, told "The smartphone will introduce Windows Phone to a new generation of smartphone users," with its target buyers who have budget restrictions. "It is designed to appeal to a more youthful audience purchasing their first smartphone and motivated by the opportunity to keep in touch with friends, family and all the latest information," he added.

The phone comes equipped with 800 MHz processor and 8 GB of internal storage and features 3.7-inch display and a 5MP camera, banked upon latest version of Windows Phone 7.5, and also is preloaded with Nokia's suite of experiences including Nokia Maps, NokiaDrive and Nokia Transport. In addition to that, it has over 1,00,000 apps to choose from, the built-in Microsoft Office app and Xbox Live is too made available on this averaged priced smartphone.

Warner Bros has partnered with Nokia to promote its upcoming movie Dark Knight Rises and has presented with exclusive movie contents on Nokia 610.
Nokia, with the launch of its new product is trying desperately to recapture the lost grounds; it currently holds only just over a quarter of the market. Samsung is highest over 40 percent market share.
