Nokia has finally released the Asha 303 feature phone in India, which was originally shown off last October at Nokia World. The device flaunts a QWERTY-touch design, with a 2.6-inch capacitive display with a resolution 320×240 pixels. Notably, the device will be powered by a 1GHz processor and will also run on 3G networks in. As far as weight and size are concerned, the Asha 303 features a relatively light footprint at 99grams and a 13.3-mm paunch. As with most Nokia feature phones, the Asha 303, runs on Nokia’s S40 platform.
Other features of the device include a 3.2-megapixel snapper, a 1300mAh battery, a built-in MP3 player and preloaded Facebook, Angry Birds Lite, WhatsApp, ZengaTv and Shazaam apps. Apart from these features, the device will offer access to 40 lakh DRM-free songs via the Nokia Music Unlimited service. Nokia has tied up with Vodafone, which offers up to 1GB of data for four months over either 3G or 2G networks. The device is available in the market in two colors – Red and Graphite, and will cost a MRP of Rs 8,899, though one can buy the device for a cheaper price of Rs 7,765 from online retailer FlipKart.
