Vimeo, which we associate with YouTube videos that NEVER LOAD, has launched
an official
app for Android. The app is rather specific about its requirements, with
Android 2.3 or higher needed to make it work. If you have that version of the OS
your phone, this is what you’ll see once it’s up and running:
As well as letting you watch other videos, Vimeo for Android has also been designed as more of a personal file manager, letting you upload your own clips to the service – and download any existing videos you’ve previously published to your phone. Plus there’s sharing, stats and comments and all the usual social stuff.
Vimeo’s on the Android Market here.
