Samsung Galaxy S2 pink version to be released in next few weeks

Judging by the comments on our article last week regarding phones for girls and why pink is so crucial (!), you guys are gonna love this.
We've had black, we've had white - and now Samsung's flagship Android device, the Samsung Galaxy S II, is available in probably the most repulsive and tacky hue imaginable: bright pink!

Actually, Samsung reckons it's called "rose" but if you look at the pictures, it's certainly more garish than many a rose we've seen in recent years.
This model's been out in South Korea for a few months now but apparently, us Brits have been hankering after one ourselves for a while. It'll be out here in the next few weeks - crucially, to capitalise on the Valentines Day market. And who said that the annual day of romance was becoming too commercial?!
Phones4U is planning on stocking the handset - which is no different to the other versions, colour aside with that 4.3-inch Super AMOLED display, dual-core processor, Android Gingerbread and 8MP camera. It'll be available on Vodafone, Orange and O2 contracts.
There's no mention of a SIM-free price though we know through personal experience that Phones4U isn't massively enamoured with selling offline handsets when stock is limited due to the fact that network commission is lost for the sale.
Either way, for all of those out there with zero taste, at least you have something to ask your beau for!
