Motorola India denies XOOM price cut

Motorola India has denied slashing the price of its XOOM tablet as was reported earlier this week. An online retailer was selling the 32GB Wi-Fi-only variant of the XOOM for Rs 21,500. According to a Motorola spokesperson we spoke to, Motorola has not slashed the price of the XOOM and they are not aware from where the dealer received his stocks. The company still insists the price of the XOOM is Rs 29,990 for the Wi-Fi-only edition and Rs 34,990 for the Wi-Fi+3G edition. However, it is easily available for a less than that but not as low as Rs 21,500.
