Google updates Google+ Hangouts

It seems as though Google is on an updating spree. First they updated Google Maps for Android, then they updated Google search for pre-Ice Cream Sandwich devices, now comes the news that they have updated Google+ Hangouts in a bid to take on Skype head on. With the new update Google+ users can now share the screen with callers just like Skype, providing a more refined experience.  While screen sharing has been there as part of ‘Hangouts with Extras’ it’s the first time Google is delving into uncharted waters. Another noticeable facet of the new Hangouts fascia is that its right in tow with Google’s new design philosophy for all of its products.
