Sprint's Galaxy SIII Is Now Available for $199 Contract

After the long wait the much awaited phone Samsung Galaxy SIII is launched on 1st julyaccording to the Sprint's website. earlier it was promised on 21 june but sprint won't able to launch the phone.Many of those who pre-ordered the device weeks ago have already received the phone, but for those who weren't ready to commit it's been a long wait due to manufacturing issues on Samsung's end. It may have missed itsoriginal June 21st launch date by quite a bit, but no matter: you can now head on over to Sprint and pick up the 16GB and 32GB models for $199.99 and $249.99 with a two-year contract, respectively.

Samsung Galaxy S III Arriving On 29th May in Europe, June In US

After announcing Samsung Galaxy S III, now its time for launching. As official Note Samsung Galaxy S III HSPA+ version Arriving On 29th May in Europe and LTE version making its way to US, Japan and Korea in june. In all, the phone will be hitting some 296 mobile operators in 145 countries, according to the company.

Additionally, Major specs include a 4.8-inch Super AMOLED display at 720p resolution, 8-megapixel primary and 1.9-megapixel front-facing cameras with 990ms start-up time, 3.3fps burst mode, and best-shot selection (similar to the HTC One series), 16 or 32GB of storage (a 64GB version is coming later) with microSD expansion, Bluetooth 4.0 support, GPS with GLONASS reception, high-throughput 40MHz 802.11n Wi-Fi, NFC, and a relatively large 2,100mAh battery. The phone measures 8.6mm thick (136.6 x 70.6 x 8.6mm, to be exact) which is actually a bit thicker than the S II's 8.5mm.

Samsung Officially Announces Galaxy S III With 1.4GHz quad-core Exynos

Samsung Officially Announced Galaxy S III at an event called Galaxy Unpacked. Phone consists 4.8-inch 720p HD Super AMOLED display into an 8.6mm thick chassis, it runs Samsung’s 1.4GHz quad-core Exynos 4 Quad paired with an 8-megapixel camera. HSPA+ 21 with support for LTE in select markets, a 1.9-megapixel camera for 720p HD video recording, 1GB of RAM and 16GB/32GB/64GB of internal storage with a memory card slot for up to 64GB microSD cards. A 2100 mAh battery, WiFi (with support for channel bonding and WiFi Direct), Bluetooth 4.0, an accelerometer, digital compass, proximity sensor, gyroscope, barometer and NFC. Galaxy S III measures 136.6 x 70.6 x 8.6mm and weighs 133g. The 720 x 1280 display runs at 306ppi.

Samsung did not make any sort of official release date clear, only saying that it would be releasing the phone in the UK later on this month.

Both Vodafone and O2, UK based carriers, have confirmed that they will be carrying the Samsung Galaxy S III. Neither revealed any sort of pricing for the device.

Samsung says that the device will be hitting other markets in the future with the 4G LTE model hitting the United States sometime this summer.
