Games:God of War Ascension’s director talks 3D, bots and collector’s edition

Todd Papy has added a few more interesting comments for his upcoming Playstation 3 exclusive video game, God of War Ascension. The latest subjects that the game director talked about include the possibilities of multiplayer bots and collector’s edition in addition to some tidbits about the stereoscopic 3D effect the action-adventure title.
When asked if the multiplayer mode will include computer-controlled bots, the game director responded with the following:
We will have no Bots. We are talking about a practice/training area but nothing is final yet
On the possibility of a collector’s edition for God of War Ascension, Todd Papy stated:
We are still in talks of if we do one/what it is.
One person asked how the variable frame rate will have an effect on the stereoscopic 3D since “it should be 30fps per eye for comfortable play.” Todd Papy made this comment:
We are still working on this. So I can give you a concrete answer
Finally, he added the following when another fan asked if having a fixed camera angle will have a positive impact on the stereoscopic 3D effects compared to other games that have free camera control:
Yes I do
Sony Computer Entertainment Santa Monica Studio, the same company that also worked on God of War, God of War II and God of War III, is currently developing God of War Ascension. Todd Papy is the fourth different director to take the helm for the mainline games in the God of War series. The action-adventure title is slated for a spring 2013 release exclusively for the Playstation 3 platform.
