Samsung's forthcoming duo of revamped Galaxy Tab 2 devices has been officially delayed until the end of April.
Originally the two Galaxy Tab 2 tablets, a 10.1-inch and a 7-inch, were due to arrive in March. Of course, March has now come and gone without a peep from Samsung - until now.
According to Computerworld.com a Samsung spokesperson has set the record straight - we'll now be seeing the tablets getting a UK launch in late April.
Samsung explained that it still has some polishing and tweaking to do to get Android Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS) working just right on the devices. The Galaxy Tab 2 range was set to be the first lot of Android tablets to ship with ICS already installed.
Both size variants are expected to ship with Wi-Fi-only and 3G capable models available.
The 7-inch models will have a 1024x600 pixel screen resolution and three storage options of 8GB, 16GB and 32GB while the 10.1-inch versions will boast a 1280x800 pixel resolution and either 16GB or 32GB of onboard storage space.
Both sizes will have 1GB of RAM and micro SD capability for a further 32GB of card storage, along with a 1GHz ARM Cortex-A9 dual core processor.
