Rovio’s done the predictable: they’ve released some success numbers since the launch of Angry Birds Space on March 22nd. They claim that they have enjoyed 10 million downloads of the game in just three days. I’m sure all of that isn’t Android but judging by the figures seen in the Google Play Store, it looks like it contributed quite nicely.
It’s an expected result from one of the most popular titles in mobile. The entire Angry Birds IP has gained tons of steam since its launch, and with the aggressive marketing campaign they launched it was pretty much destined to be a success.
