Research In Motion (RIM) is likely to launch the BlackBerry Curve 9220 in India
in April. The successor to the Curve 8520 will have a 2.0 MP camera, a 2.4-inch
QVGA display, Wi-Fi and FM radio. However, one big difference on the Curve 9220
will be a dedicated BBM key on the phone, just like the Curve 8520 had music
shortcut keys. The Curve 9220 is likely to be priced under Rs 9,000 in India.
Being a non-3G phone, we won’t be surprised if it is introduced first in India
globally. We had earlier exclusively reported on RIM’s
2012 product portfolio.
