Apple started their 12 days of Christmas promotion on December 26th, which runs through until January 6th in Canada and select parts of Europe. The giveaways include free music, movies, books and applications each day until the promotion ends.
Apple kicked it off with a free download of Coldplay's album that features three tunes from their "iTunes Festival: London" performance earlier this year. Tracks included are 'Every Teardrop is a Waterfall,' God Put a Smile Upon Your Face,' and 'Fix You.' On top of the songs, they gaveaway videos of each live performance.
The fourth annual event of giveaways is designed to promote the iTunes and App Store, specifically targeted toward those who may have received an iOS-powered device over the holidays. The free service is a great way to show people around their iTunes and App Store's, and existing customers get free stuff as a thankyou for their continued support.
The only thing that sucks, is it's only available in Canada and select parts of Europe. To see if the app is available in your area, check out the iTunes Preview page.
